From disappointing songs to outdated mass aesthetics, social media criticism around Peddi continues to grow.
The biggest target of backlash has been the recently released track “Hellallallo”, composed by legendary musician A. R. Rahman.
While this is even compared its lyrical style and composition to low-budget Bhojpuri-inspired mass tracks rather than a premium pan-India film soundtrack.
Discussions online frequently mention that the film’s visuals, styling, and overall tone feel “dated” for a star of Ram Charan’s current stature post-RRR.
Production delays have further affected momentum. Initially expected much earlier, the film’s release has now shifted multiple times, reportedly moving toward June 2026. These delays, combined with mixed promotional response, have weakened the initial buzz significantly.
Concerns are especially rising around the Hindi market, where expectations after RRR remain extremely high.
While the film still has time to turn the tide with stronger marketing and better content reveals, current online sentiment suggests that Peddi has an uphill battle ahead.
