Ram Charan starrer struggles in Hindi market overseas while Telugu version shows decent momentum

The early USA advance booking trends for Peddi are raising concerns, especially for its Hindi version.

The data of excluding blocked seats, the Telugu version has sold around 1,449 tickets across 602 shows, grossing nearly $30,944 with approximately 2% occupancy.

However, the real shocker is the Hindi version. The film has reportedly sold only 208 tickets across 98 shows, collecting just around $3,331 so far. Several shows are said to be selling merely 1–2 tickets per screening, with occupancy hovering below 4%, and in many locations closer to the 2% range

The Hindi version occupancy is currently below 4% per show, indicating weak pre-release buzz in overseas North Indian markets.

This comes as a major concern considering the expectations surrounding Ram Charan after the massive global success of RRR.

The film’s average ticket price (ATP) has gone significantly high in several locations, which could affect overall occupancy numbers despite reasonable interest.

Also Peddi’s promotional content, songs, and overall presentation have already been largely divided, and the current booking pattern reflects similar uncertainty.

With release still some time away, stronger promotions and positive trailer response may still improve momentum but as of now, the Hindi market performance overseas is looking far below expectations.
