Xclusive: Salman Khan’s ‘The Monster’ Vishal Mishra To Score The Album And Sing The Title Track; Here’s What We Know So Far

The singer-composer reunites with Salman Khan as the Vamshi Paidipally directorial enters its biggest action schedule ahead of Eid 2027

Salman Khan’s next is slowly turning into one of the most closely watched projects in Bollywood. While the makers are still keeping the film’s final title and several key details under wraps, the latest update has come from the music department.

Vishal Mishra has reportedly come on board to score the album and will also sing the much-awaited title track, marking another musical collaboration between the singer-composer and Salman.

The film, currently known by its working title SVC63 and widely reported to be titled The Monster, is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The project pairs Salman with Nayanthara for the first time and is scheduled for a grand theatrical release during Eid 2027.

The Vishal Mishra development adds an interesting layer to a film that is already being mounted on a large scale. According to KBP REVIEW reports, two songs were ready when the makers approached Mishra, and his previous association with Salman reportedly played a role in bringing him on board.

His involvement is now expected to extend beyond a single promotional number, with Mishra taking charge of the album as well as the title song.

Vishal Mishra And Salman Khan Reunite

This is not the first time Vishal Mishra and Salman Khan have crossed paths musically.Mishra was associated with “Selfish” from Race 3, a song featuring Salman and written by the superstar himself. He was also part of the “Rafta Rafta” medley from Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, which featured Salman in a special appearance.

The reunion comes at an interesting stage in Mishra’s career. Over the years, he has successfully moved between emotional melodies and commercial tracks, building a strong identity as both a singer and composer. His work includes popular songs such as “Kaise Hua,” “Pehle Bhi Main” and “Aaj Bhi,” while his recent association with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups further expanded his filmography.

That versatility could be particularly useful for The Monster, which is being positioned as a large-scale action entertainer. A strong title track could become one of the film’s earliest promotional weapons, especially with Salman Khan’s name attached to it.

The makers recently entered the film’s biggest shooting phases with a six-week Mumbai schedule, which began on August 6. According to mid-day, director Vamshi Paidipally is filming three major action set-pieces along with several crowd sequences, with hundreds of junior artistes required for the large-scale portions.

Superstar has historically enjoyed a strong association with Eid releases, and the announcement of SVC63 for Eid 2027 immediately created curiosity around the calendar. There has even been speculation about a possible clash with Prabhas’ Spirit, although recent reports suggest that the two films may ultimately occupy different release windows.

Salman’s films have traditionally benefited from songs that become part of the promotional identity, and having Vishal Mishra both compose the album and sing the title track gives the music department a consistent creative voice.

Television actress Shweta Tiwari, who is currently participating in The Traitors 2, recently opened up about the growing culture of online abuse and the way derogatory comments against women have increasingly become normalised on social media.

During an Instagram Live conversation with actress Parul Gulati, Tiwari questioned why people feel comfortable using abusive and insulting language online. She also spoke about the emotional impact of constantly being targeted by trolls.

The actress subsequently shared screenshots of profiles that she alleged had sent abusive messages and questioned Raj Thackeray after claiming that some of the accounts identified themselves as his supporters.

The controversy comes alongside her current appearance on The Traitors 2, where she has already been involved in several emotional moments. Most recently, she spoke about feeling betrayed during a task involving fellow contestants Abhishek Malhan and Rhea Chakraborty, explaining why she became emotional despite understanding that deception is part of the reality show’s format.

However, the larger issue remains outside the reality show, the increasingly aggressive nature of online conversations and the normalisation of abusive language.
