The film has opened to packed theatres across North America, Europe, Asia and several international territories, reaffirming Nolan’s unmatched ability to draw audiences to cinemas in an era dominated by streaming platforms.
According to KBP REVIEW TRADE ESTIMATES, The Odyssey collected approximately ₹61.30 crore India net and ₹73.19 crore India gross during its opening weekend. For a Hollywood release, these numbers reflect exceptional audience interest, particularly in premium formats like IMAX and Dolby Cinema.
The domestic North American market contributed nearly $124.5 million (approximately ₹1,150 crore), while overseas territories added another $139.6 million (around ₹1,320 crore). Together, the worldwide opening weekend stands at an extraordinary $264 million, placing the film among the biggest global launches of the year.

Even as Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups gears up for its worldwide release on August 26, 2026, fresh updates from the film continue generating excitement among fans. After the success of the first promotional track “Tabaahi,” another song from the film is now preparing for release.
According to KBP REVIEW reports, the upcoming track will prominently feature Yash alongside Tara Sutaria, offering audiences a closer look at another important relationship within the film’s narrative.
The song has reportedly been composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, while Siddharth Basrur has lent his voice to the track. Interestingly, this marks another collaboration between Yash and Tanishk Bagchi after the hugely popular “Gali Gali” from KGF: Chapter 1.
While “Tabaahi” largely highlighted the chemistry between Yash and Kiara Advani, the upcoming song is expected to shift focus toward Tara Sutaria’s character and reveal another layer of Geetu Mohandas’ mysterious gangster drama.
The opening song featured music by Vishal Mishra, while different composers are contributing to various tracks, giving the album a distinctive musical identity.Directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions, the film stars Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles.
