Ranbir Kapoor led epic enters a crucial promotional phase as overseas bookings eye October opening.
According to KBP REVIEWS, the makers are targeting the September 25-28 window for the film’s next big asset, provided the current plans stay on schedule.
The upcoming release is expected to carry considerably more weight than a routine promotional update and could offer audiences a closer look at Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious interpretation of the epic. So far, the team has revealed the film in a carefully controlled manner, making every new asset an important step in its larger campaign.
With Ranbir Kapoor playing Ram, Sai Pallavi portraying Sita and Yash stepping into the role of Ravana, Ramayana continues to position itself as a global-scale theatrical spectacle.
Overseas Advance Booking Could Open In October
The international business will also enter an important phase soon, overseas advance bookings for Ramayana: Part 1 could open in the first week of October.
That would give international audiences the opportunity to book tickets well before the film reaches cinemas. The makers have already created considerable interest around the film’s international rollout.
Reports suggest that the team has moved the overseas release to November 5, 2026, ahead of the international release of Godzilla Minus Zero, while the Indian release remains positioned around the Diwali period.
The team has also prepared different versions of the film for different markets. The English-language cut will run approximately 30 minutes shorter than the Hindi version, with certain songs and scenes trimmed to create a more streamlined international experience.
