Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is one of the biggest Indian cinematic events ever mounted, According to recent reports, producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari are exploring an extensive promotional campaign in China, with Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi expected to lead the film’s international outreach ahead of its theatrical release.
As Reported by KBP REVIEW, indicated that the tentative plan includes a four-day promotional tour across China. If everything falls into place, the campaign is expected to begin with a special press event and screening at the prestigious Pingyao International Film Festival on September 24, followed by a multi-city promotional tour during China’s Golden Week beginning October 1, While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the discussions themselves highlight the confidence the makers have in the film’s international appeal.
A Return To One Of Bollywood’s Biggest Overseas Markets China has historically been one of the most rewarding overseas territories for Indian cinema. Films like Dangal, Secret Superstar, Andhadhun, Hindi Medium and Bajrangi Bhaijaan received overwhelming appreciation from Chinese audiences and generated massive box office collections.

The film is being mounted on a massive scale under Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with DNEG, the Academy Award-winning visual effects company that has worked on several Hollywood blockbusters.
For now, all eyes remain on the film’s next promotional asset, with the full trailer expected after mid-July, which is likely to offer audiences a much deeper look into Nitesh Tiwari’s vision.

According to KBP REVIEW, Dhamaal 4 has emerged as the third highest opening weekend grosser of 2026 after collecting ₹64.35 crore in its first three days. The comedy entertainer has edged past Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle, which collected ₹63.47 crore, to secure the third position among the year’s biggest opening weekends.Only Dhurandhar The Revenge (₹443 crore) and Border 2 (₹129.89 crore) remain ahead of Dhamaal 4 on the 2026 opening weekend charts.

According to reports, the film may no longer arrive in 2026 as initially expected. While the makers are still exploring the possibility of a release next year, ongoing clearances related to the film’s sensitive backdrop based on the 2020 Galwan conflict have slowed progress. Should that happen, 2027 may become a significant year for Salman Khan, with both Maatrubhumi and Vamshi Paidipally’s untitled action entertainer potentially releasing in the same calendar year.
For now, the makers continue to work towards resolving the pending issues before taking a final decision on the release schedule.
