If everything falls into place, the campaign is expected to begin with a special press event and screening at the prestigious Pingyao International Film Festival on September 24, followed by a multi-city promotional tour during China’s Golden Week beginning October 1, While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the discussions themselves highlight the confidence the makers have in the film’s international appeal.
