As KBP REVIEW REPORTS, Nayanthara Joins The Schedule, The six-week Mumbai leg is shaping up as the most important portions of the film. Jackie Shroff also set to join the action-packed schedule, Salman Khan is heading to Afghanistan but this time, he won’t have to leave Mumbai.

Director Vamshi Paidipally has recreated an entire Afghan village at Prime Focus Studio in Film City, Goregaon, for some of the most crucial action sequences of his upcoming film, currently known as ‘SVC63’.

The massive set has been designed to resemble an Afghan settlement, complete with mud plastered structures, narrow lanes and weathered homes, giving the makers a realistic backdrop for the film’s action portions.

The Mumbai schedule began on August 6 and is expected to continue for around six weeks. According to the KBP REVIEW reports, a significant chunk of the film’s action material is being planned and completed during this leg.

Nayanthara, who plays the female lead, has also joined Salman for this portion of the shoot, and the two actors are expected to feature together in several important action sequences. The film marks their first collaboration, while it also brings Salman together with Paidipally for the first time.

The project is being produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, making it an interesting Bollywood – South collaboration. The film went on floors in Mumbai in April following a formal launch ceremony.

The setting appears to be closely connected to the film’s action-driven narrative, with the specially constructed village providing the backdrop for key sequences involving Salman’s character. For a superstar whose films have traditionally relied heavily on larger than life action, Paidipally’s decision to physically construct the environment.

The set reportedly includes traditional-looking mud houses, narrow pathways and aged structures, allowing the action team to choreograph sequences around the environment itself. That could make the upcoming action portions more grounded while still retaining the scale expected from a Salman Khan theatrical entertainer.

The project has already generated considerable curiosity because Paidipally is known for mounting commercial dramas on a large scale. His previous films include Maharshi and Varisu, while SVC63 represents his first direct collaboration with Salman Khan.

Nayanthara’s presence adds another interesting dimension to the Mumbai schedule. The actress has officially joined the film as its female lead, and recent reports indicate that she will share several important sequences with Salman during the current leg.The pairing has naturally become one of the film’s biggest attractions.

The actress joining Salman for the Afghanistan-set sequences also suggests that their characters will be directly involved in some of the film’s major conflicts. The project’s casting has continued to expand as production progresses. Rahul Dev and other actors are playing antagonistic roles, while recent reports confirmed that veteran actor Jackie Shroff has joined the cast.

Interestingly, Shroff is not expected to play the villain, his character will be pivotal to Salman’s journey when the protagonist finds himself in a difficult situation.

The film’s ensemble already includes names such as Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff and Rahul Dev, while publicly available production information also lists Anil Kapoor, Arvind Swamy and Rajpal Yadav among the cast.

A Big Schedule Before Salman Moves To His NextThe current Mumbai schedule is particularly important because the team wants to complete a substantial portion of the action material before moving ahead.

The makers have also been careful about keeping several details of the film under wraps. Despite the project being in production for months, the official title and complete storyline remain closely guarded.

That secrecy has only added to the curiosity. Even the working title SVC63 comes from the production banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, which is backing the film. The makers have yet to reveal the final title, although fans have been eagerly waiting for an announcement.

A recent BTS glimpse released for Paidipally’s birthday showed Salman and the director together on the sets, giving audiences another small look at the camaraderie behind the ambitious project.

After completing his commitments with SVC63, the superstar is expected to turn his attention to his next major projects. The most talked-about collaborations is his upcoming film with Raj & DK, the filmmaker duo behind The Family Man and Farzi.

AS KBP REVIEW previously reported that Raj & DK are developing a quirky superhero film for Salman, with the concept said to be in the zone of Hancock. The project was reportedly eyeing a November 2026 start, subject to scheduling and other commitments.
