The Vvaan Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Sidharth Malhotra – Tamannaah Bhatia Starrer Targets ₹6-8 Crore Opening;

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest will arrive in cinemas on September 25, and the film has started showing encouraging signs ahead of its theatrical debut.

After a relatively quiet promotional phase, the advance booking has picked up considerably in the final days before release. Based on the current trend, The Vvaan could open at around ₹6-8 crore net in India on Day 1.

Advance Booking Gains Momentum

The Vvaan has recorded a noticeable rise in advance sales as its release approaches. Gross advance booking at around ₹2.39 crore, translating to approximately ₹1.40 crore net with around 1 lakh tickets sold including blocked seats.

The makers have built the project around a mix of Indian folklore, supernatural mystery, fantasy, romance and comedy. The exhibitors have also continued adding shows in several locations giving the film more room to build its opening.

KBP REVIEW reported a sharp rise in advance sales on Thursday with the showcasing continuing to expand before Friday.

That leaves considerable room for the opening day number to move. Strong evening and night shows could push the final collection towards the upper end of the ₹6-8 crore range.

TVF Connection Gives The Film A Different Identity

One of The Vvaan’s biggest advantages comes from its association with TVF Motion Pictures and Balaji Motion Pictures. Deepak Kumar Mishra, known for his work within the TVF ecosystem, directs the film while Arunabh Kumar has developed the story and screenplay.

The Vvaan takes that sensibility into a much larger fantasy setting. The trailer introduces Sidharth as a rational city bred man who does not initially believe the supernatural stories surrounding his ancestral village.

His return home gradually pulls him into a mysterious world involving a sacred forest, an ancient force and a conflict far bigger than he expected. That Indian rooted setting could become one of the film’s biggest strengths if audiences connect with the world created by the makers.

Trailer And Music Build Curiosity

The promotional campaign has generated curiosity around the film’s unusual premise. The teaser first introduced its folklore heavy world, while the trailer expanded the mystery surrounding Sidharth and Tamannaah’s characters.

The music has also added to the campaign, with songs such as “Chhathi Maiya” and “Thummak Thummak” helping the film maintain visibility before release.

At the same time, the trailer has received a mixed response. Some viewers and reviewers felt that the ambitious folklore concept did not create the expected level of excitement.

As we reported earlier, ₹80-100 Crore Budget Raises The Stakes

The Vvaan’s reported budget in the ₹80-100 crore range. At that cost, a ₹6-8 crore opening would give the film a starting point but it would not determine its final theatrical outcome.

The film will need to show healthy growth over Saturday and Sunday and maintain momentum during the following days.

Its biggest advantage could be that it does not depend entirely on star driven fan audiences. The folklore and fantasy elements give the makers an opportunity to attract families, younger viewers and audiences looking for something different from conventional Bollywood entertainers.

Tamannaah Bhatia Eyes A Strong Bollywood Opening

For Tamannaah Bhatia, The Vvaan also presents an opportunity to deliver her stronger Bollywood openings. A ₹6-8 crore Day 1 would put the film into the conversation around her bigger Hindi openers although it would remain below films such as Humshakals, Himmatwala and Entertainment.

Sidharth, meanwhile, gets an opportunity to connect with audiences through a genre that takes him into a different space from several of his recent releases.

Copyright Issue Addressed Before Release

The film also encountered a copyright-related controversy shortly before release. Independent musician Sargam Vaish alleged that the makers had used his recording of “Aigiri Nandini” in the trailer without permission.

Following discussions, the makers acquired the synchronization rights to the recording. Vaish reportedly maintained that he did not know how his recording reached the trailer in the first place.

The matter has since been addressed, allowing the film to continue towards its scheduled September 25 release.

The Vvaan Day 1 Box Office Prediction

The Vvaan looks set to target a ₹6-8 crore net opening in India. The film has improved its advance sales in the final stretch, exhibitors continue to expand its showcasing and the folklore driven concept gives it enough curiosity to attract walk in audiences.

However, the reported ₹80–100 crore cost makes the post Friday trend far more important than the opening itself.
